********************************************************************** README: Gateway entry clone data URL: http://riodb.ibase.aist.go.jp/hgpd/sys_info/download.html Last modified: March 23, 2010 ********************************************************************** Gateway entry clone data in HGPD are described in 2 kinds of data files. 1) Information data 2) Sequence data 3) History ============================================================ 1) Information data ============================================================ The data file is prepared in "txt" or "xls" format. The contents of information data are as follows: - FLJ ID The FLJ ID number of the FLJ cDNAs: In case where other resources are used for entry clone construction, FLJ ID was also assigned. - cDNA clone ID Primary Clone ID: The initial 3-5 characters stand for names of cells or tissues from which mRNAs were purified. - Accession number Accession numbers were assigned by DDBJ/GenBank/EMBL. - Selected ORF region - ORF size (number of aa residues) - Molecular weight (kDa) - Entry clone ID (N/F-type) "N" and "F" at the end of the ID stand for N- and F-types, respectively. - Accession number (N/F-type) When@a single@source cDNA corresponding to a target sequence is not available, entry clones were made by combination of multiple templates such as DNA fragment(s) produced by RT-PCR or chemical-synthesis, and plasmid DNA(s). In such cases sequences of constructed entry clones were deposited and accession numbers were newly assigned. - Amino acid deviation (N/F-type) About a selected ORF sequence, ex.1) T216A: displacement of T with A at position 216 ex.2) 418A: addition, in an entry clone, of A which is present at position 418 of a selected ORF sequence ex.3) S165: deletion, in an entry clone, of S which is present at position 165 - Protein expression (Total, Sup) Evaluation of the level of protein expression was performed by visual judgement. 1: protein-expressed 0: not protein-expressed -: not determined ============================================================ 2) Sequence data ============================================================ The data file is prepared in "fasta" format. Two kinds of sequences data files are prepared. a) Nucleotide sequences b) Amino acid sequences The contents of sequence data are as follows; - Entry clone ID "N" and "F" at the end of the ID stand for N- and F-types, respectively. - Sequence of entry clone ============================================================ 3) History ============================================================ ## 2010/03/23 ## Following data are updated. - Information data of Gatewaye entry clone (v 1.0 => v 2.0) ## 2010/03/19 ## Following data are updated. - Sequence data (nucleotide and amino acid sequences) of Gateway entry clone (v 1.0r => v 2.0) ## 2008/12/02 ## Following data are updated. - Sequence data (nucleotide and amino acid sequences) of Gateway entry clone (v 1.0 => v 1.0r) ## 2008/11/13 ## Following data are published. - Information data of Gatewaye entry clone (v 1.0) - Sequence data (nucleotide and amino acid sequences) of Gateway entry clone (v 1.0)
